Depop removed the selling fee for US sellers. You still pay payment processing on the whole order, and an optional boosting fee.

Assumptions. US seller, US buyer, US dollars, one item per order, standard account in good standing, no promotions, ads, refunds, currency conversion or instant-payout fees. Sales tax is collected and remitted by the marketplace, so it is never part of your payout, but eBay, Whatnot (processing), Depop and Etsy (processing) still charge a percentage on it. "Payout" is what the platform sends you; "profit" also subtracts your label and item cost. Each fee line is rounded to the cent.
How Depop calculates the fee
- US sellers pay no Depop selling fee. Payment processing (Depop Payments via Stripe) is 3.3% + $0.45 on item price + shipping + any taxes. Optional Boosted Listings cost 12% (US, new listings from 23 Mar 2026) of the item price, plus shipping if you did not use a Depop shipping label.
- Buyers pay a separate marketplace fee (up to 5% + up to $1); it does not come out of your payout.

$30 item + $5 shipping, no tax: 3.3% x $35 + $0.45 = $1.61 processing.

Non-US fees (UK and other countries differ), PayPal processing, and Depop shipping label pricing.
